What we collect and why

Your order details — name, email, phone and the items you bought. We need these to prepare your order and hand it to the right person. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
Payment records — the payment reference and amount returned to us by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number, expiry date or security code. Legal basis: contract and our legal obligation to keep sales records.
Technical data — your IP address is used briefly to stop automated abuse of the checkout. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping stock available to real customers.

Who we share it with

We only share what is necessary, and only with providers acting on our instructions: Stripe (card payments, which involves a transfer outside the EEA under Stripe's standard contractual clauses), our website and database hosting provider, and our email provider for order confirmations. We never sell your data or use it for third-party marketing.

Cookies and local storage

Essential storage keeps your basket, your order link and your cookie choice working — the site cannot function without it. Anything non-essential is only used if you accept it in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept for six years, as Irish tax law requires. Unpaid or abandoned baskets are cleared automatically. After the retention period the personal details on older orders are removed and only an anonymous sales record remains.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, erasure, restriction or objection at any time by emailing bulkbuycork@gmail.com or calling (021) 485 0173. We will respond within one month. Where we must keep a sales record for tax purposes, we erase your personal details and keep only the anonymous transaction. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28 (dataprotection.ie).

Children

This site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
